Fun Finds at the Schoolhouse!

A Metal Detectorist paid our little schoolhouse a visit the other day to see what treasures he could discover. He certainly found a few interesting items hiding beneath the ground!

The axe heads are extremely heavy and are probably quite old. It sure would be fun to know their age. They could possibly be wedge hammers that were used to split logs. Also found were a spoon handle, a shoe buckle, a partial lid of a ladies compact, an old key, several horseshoes, an old iron ring and a round metal circular item 🤷🏼‍♀️
