After four long years of restoration work, this country gem is ready to be used by the community. It is a great venue for all types of events and gatherings including meetings, workshops, private parties, and special events.

Amenities

The schoolhouse is ADA accessible and has a maximum interior capacity of 50 people.

Parking

Our gravel lot fits about 25 vehicles and is situated right next to the schoolhouse for easy access.

Bathrooms / Prep Area

The schoolhouse features an attached, single-stall, ADA bathroom these days. No more running out to the biffy!

If you need a private prep area for a bridal party, we can help with this.

Kitchen

Our clean, well-lit kitchen comes with:

• Two single basin sinks
• A vintage, four-element electric stove
• A small, vintage fridge and freezer
• A new dishwasher
• 30-cup drip coffeemaker with spigot
• 12-cup coffeemaker
• 12-cup electric hot water kettle for tea
• Limited dishware
• Coffee carafes
• Some serving utensils, trays, serving dishes, punch bowl, and pitchers
• Unscented dish soap, dishwasher soap, unscented hand soap, some paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and cleaning supplies and equipment.
• We DO NOT supply coffee, tea, sugar, coffee filters, or other food items, etc.

There is plenty of counter space. Everything is new, clean, and well-lit.

Schoolhouse Furnishings

The schoolhouse also provides its guests:

• 48 matching 4″ glass vases and other assorted vases
• 6 outdoor picnic tables
• 14 outdoor benches (12″W x 8’L x 16″H)
• Freestanding moving screen
• Sound system and wireless mic (Bluetooth)
• TV with slide show capabilities (FAT32/ 4gb or Bluetooth)
• American flag
• School bell which may be rung judiciously
• Tables:
  • 9 white plastic, 72″ x 30″ x 29″ that seat 6-8 people
  • 4 square plywood 36″ x 36″ x 30″ that seat 4 people
• Chairs:
  • 50 folding black plastic chairs
  • 6 vinyl 1950s chairs
  • 12 vintage wooden chairs
• One 1950’s-era student desk for check-in
• One low, student table (20″W x 40″L x 18″H) for wedding gifts, reception, exhibits
• Historic exhibits and interpretive signs are located throughout the museum-like schoolhouse.
